Prayer Update...

Well, it has been a crazy week already. We finished Bass Lake yesterday and everyone got home safe and sound. God began a new work in the high schoolers that we now get to work with. Two decisions to totally surrender everything to Jesus and strive for true intimacy with him. Two baptisms. Relationships formed. Community started. Now it's time to get to work.

Here is how you can pray for me this week:

1). Tonight is the first night of me teaching a group of about 200 junior high students up here at Mt. Hermon in Santa Cruz. The camp is already exploding with excitement, so now I am even more pumped to speak tonight. The topic for the whole week is God's faithfulness.

2). Yesterday I had an amazing time with Jesus at Bass Lake after the students left. I so needed it because it had been a while since I had gotten truly alone with Jesus. He healed me of some things that I have been struggling with and revealed his grace and mercy to me in a new and fresh way. I have made a commitment this week to truly seek after him instead of being the camp speaker.

3). On Sunday I will be teaching our high schoolers back at PFB.

I can't thank you enough for all that you do for me by praying.

  1. Isn't it wonderful to place yourself in the hands of God and give Him control...it's the only place to be...this side of heaven...
